-
STEP 3
Pour into jars or other airtight containers for gift giving. Store refrigerated.
-
STEP 4
To reheat, microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between each, until pourable and desired consistency.
Malted Fudge Sauce
Stir in 3 tablespoons malt powder.
Orange Fudge Sauce
Stir in 2 tablespoons orange liqueur or 1 teaspoon orange extract.
Pumpkin (or Apple) Spice Fudge Sauce
Stir in 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice or apple pie spice.
Raspberry Jalapeño
Stir in 3 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam and 3 tablespoons finely chopped fresh jalapeño chile pepper.
Tip #1
To create different flavors, divide basic fudge sauce between two bowls. Stir half of desired flavor variation ingredients into each bowl.
Tip #2
For the smoothest sauce, use chopped chocolate or high-quality chocolate chips. Classic chocolate chips often have wax in them to help them keep their shape.
