Spicy Sesame Butter Noodles

1 (3-ounce) package ramen noodles

2 (1 tablespoon) Land O Lakes® Butter Balls

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

1 tablespoon chili crisp

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon sesame oil

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Cook ramen noodles in boiling water 3 minutes; reserve 1/4 cup pasta water when draining noodles. (Save seasoning packet for another use.)

  2. STEP 2

    Heat medium skillet over medium heat. Add Butter Balls, green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in chili crisp, soy sauce, honey and sesame oil; cook 30 seconds. Add drained noodles; cook and stir until coated. Add reserved pasta water, if needed, to loosen sauce and create desired consistency. Serve immediately.

Tip #1

This one goes quickly! Prep and measure your ingredients before you begin. (Multiply ingredients according to how many will be at your table.) The chili crunch, soy sauce, honey and sesame oil can go into the same small ramekin to make assembly extra easy.

Tip #2

Add your favorite cooked protein and/or veggie to turn this comforting snack into a meal. Chicken, shrimp, tofu or a fried egg boost the protein. Broccoli, sautéed spinach and edamame are healthy additions too!

Tip #3

Feel free to use your favorite style of cooked noodles in place of the ramen. About 4 ounces works with the sauce as written.
