Lighten Up Turkey, Tomato & Basil Grilled Cheese

4 whole grain round thin sandwich buns

4 teaspoons Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

4 teaspoons Dijon mustard

8 (3/4-ounce) slices

8 ounces sliced deli turkey

4 slices tomato

4 to 8 fresh basil leaves

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Spread cut-sides of each sandwich bun with 1/2 teaspoon butter.

  2. STEP 2

    Place bottom side of sandwich bun, buttered-side down. (The buttered side will now be the outside of sandwich.) Spread with 1 teaspoon mustard. Top with 1 cheese slice, 1/4 turkey, 1 tomato slice, 1 to 2 basil leaves and 1 cheese slice. Place top of sandwich bun, buttered-side up, over cheese.

  3. STEP 3

    Heat 12-inch skillet or griddle over medium heat.

  4. STEP 4

    Place 2 sandwiches into skillet; cook, turning once, 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
