Lemon Pepper Turkey Mini-Burgers

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic


1 (20-ounce) package lean ground turkey

1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon zest

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

8 small buns, split

8 small lettuce leaves

8 thin tomato slices

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine all aioli ingredients in bowl; mix well. Set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine ground turkey, lemon zest, salt and pepper in another bowl; mix well. Shape into 8 patties.

  3. STEP 3

    Melt butter in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat until sizzling. Place patties into skillet. Cook, turning once, 7-10 minutes until golden brown, internal temperature reaches 165ºF and no longer pink in center.

  4. STEP 4

    Spread aioli onto bottom half of each bun. Place lettuce leaves onto bottom half of buns. Top each with tomato slice, burger and top half of bun. Serve immediately.

Tip #1

If your skillet will not accommodate 8 burger patties, cook in 2 batches using 1 tablespoon butter for each batch.
