Ingredients

1/4 cup (4 ounces) Land O Lakes® Unsalted Butter

1/2 cup (3 ounces) Shallots, minced

3 1/4 cups (8 ounces) Cremini mushrooms, stems removed, quartered

3 1/4 cups (8 ounces) Oyster mushrooms, bottoms of stems removed

3 1/4 cups (8 ounces) Shiitake mushrooms, sliced 1/4 inch

3 1/4 cups (8 ounces) White button mushrooms, stems removed, quartered

1 cup (8 ounces) White wine, dry

2 tablespoons (1/3 ounce) Fresh thyme, chopped

1 pouch (32 ounces) Land O Lakes® Butter Sauce

1 tablespoon Black pepper, fresh cracked

2 teaspoons Salt, kosher

Fresh parsley, chopped, if desired

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Add butter to large saucepan; melt over medium-high heat. Add shallots; sauté 1-2 minutes or until softened.

  2. STEP 2

    Add mushrooms; sauté until liquid is evaporated and mushrooms are tender and lightly browned. Add wine and thyme to deglaze pan; reduce liquid by half.

  3. STEP 3

    Stir in Butter Sauce; heat to 165°F. Stir in pepper and salt.

  4. STEP 4

    Hold warm to finish à la minute plating or refrigerate for next service. Garnish with parsley to serve.

This sauce is a great protein add-on.

Toss with pasta for a simple vegetarian entree.
