
Cheese-Stuffed Appetizer Meatballs
These appetizer meatballs are stuffed with Land O Lakes® Cheese Cubes, then baked to golden brown, melty cheese goodness. Don’t forget the marinara sauce for dipping!

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef (not less than 80% lean)
1
2 cup dried Italian bread crumbs2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon fennel seed
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
1
2 teaspoon salt1
4 teaspoon pepper24 Land O Lakes® Sharp White & Medium Cheddar Cheese Cubes, from 8-ounce bag
Marinara sauce, as desired for dipping
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 450°F. Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with parchment paper; set aside.

Combine all ingredients except cheese cubes and marinara sauce in bowl; mix well. Shape beef mixture into 24 meatballs; press 1 cheese cube into each meatball, covering cheese completely. Place onto prepared pan.

STEP 3
Bake 13-15 minutes or until deep golden brown. Insert toothpick into each meatball. Serve with marinara sauce, if desired.
Tip #1
Make ahead by starting earlier in the day, completing steps 1 and 2. Cover and refrigerate. Uncover before baking.
