Orzo Pilaf

1 tablespoon Land O Lakes® Butter

1/2 cup uncooked dried orzo (rosamarina) pasta

1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

1 cup small broccoli florets

1 small (1/2 cup) onion, chopped

1/2 cup finely shredded carrot

1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon leaves  

 *Substitute 1 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm.

  2. STEP 2

    Meanwhile, heat oil in 10-inch skillet; stir in garlic. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Stir in broccoli, onion, carrot, and tarragon. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until vegetables are crisply tender. Stir in cooked pasta. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
