Shrimp Scampi


6 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter

2 tablespoons chopped shallots

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh garlic

2 pounds fresh raw medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, rinsed

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill


Hot cooked pasta such as pappardelle

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add shallots and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat 2-3 minutes or until shallots are softened.

  2. STEP 2

    Add shrimp; cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Stir in parsley, lemon juice and dill. Continue cooking 2-3 minutes or until flavors are blended.

  3. STEP 3

    Serve over hot cooked pasta.

Tip #1

Any pasta variety works well with these dish, but we like to used wide noodles such as pappardelle. This broad, flat pasta is a good match for strongly flavored sauces.
