Cinnamon Rolls with a Pumpkin Twist

It’s that time again…pumpkin pie spice takes over the world! And since we’re not ones to miss out on the party, our limited batch Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread is back on the shelves. (Check here to see if it’s available by you!) In addition to spreading on toast or topping pancakes, we love using this butter spread in recipes. One of our favorites is a twist, literally a twist on cinnamon rolls. Slathered with frosting, these twists are a tasty fall breakfast treat. Here’s how to make Pumpkin Pie Spice Cinnamon Twists:

Start with a frozen loaf of bread dough that’s been thawed (but hasn’t risen). Roll out into a 14x8-inch rectangle and spread with 4 tablespoons, or ¼ cup, Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Fold the dough in half in cut into ¾-inch strips
Twist each strip twice and place into pan.
Finish the twists by melting the remaining 3 tablespoons butter spread and brushing over the top. Let the twists sit for 10 minutes before baking.
