Burger Bonanza

It might be the nine-month winter we just survived here in Minnesota, but I’ve been so excited to not only use the grill, but to sit out on the patio and enjoy the warm weather. Now that the weather is cooperating, the question is: What to grill? With so many options and my indecisive tendencies, I decided to start with a classic – the cheeseburger. To mix things up a little bit, I’ve put together a list of a few new burgers.
The All-In-Burger will be an instant family favorite. With the “ketchup” (flavorful tomato paste), mustard and pickle relish right in the patty, condiments aren’t necessary. The patty stays juicy and a slice of cheese and potato chips on top make this the perfect picnic sandwich.
If you’re looking for an alternative to hamburgers, the Buffalo Chicken Burger uses ground chicken and a combination of Land O Lakes® American and blue cheese. Buffalo sauce and carrot celery slaw are a yummy new take on Buffalo wing heat.
Another hamburger substitute is bison. It’s a very lean meat with great flavor. Our Peppercorn Bison Burger is seasoned with Dijon mustard, Cajun seasoning and cracked peppercorns. Perfect for a bit of peppery spice!
Turkey burgers are a great go-to for grilling. The Santa Fe Turkey Burger has a fresh flavor from the cilantro in the patty and a perfect balance between heat and creaminess with the roasted peppers and Deli American.
What is your favorite burger to grill? We’d love to hear what you cook up this summer!
