Flavored Butter Combinations
Sautéing with butter always adds flavor, but you can take it a step further by tossing herbs and other seasonings into the skillet as well.

Bring great taste and variety to basics such as chicken, pork, rice and veggies by mixing up any of the following. They work especially well with eight ounces poultry, meat or seafood or two cups chopped vegetables or cooked rice or pasta. Cook over medium heat for best results.
Garlic & Herb:

2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter

1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic

1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon salt
If garlic browns too quickly, reduce heat to medium-low.
Italian Herb:
-
2 tablespoons LAND O LAKES® Butter

1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic

1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
-
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
If garlic browns too quickly, reduce heat to medium-low.
Lemon Pepper:

2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest

1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Southwest:

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
Teriyaki:

2 tablespoons packed brown sugar and/or 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

2 tablespoons mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce
