Cheesy Chili Lime Snack Mix

Ingredients

2 cups roasted mixed nuts

1 1/3 cups crunchy corn kernels

1/2 cup roasted salted pepitas

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Butter Spread

1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon chile-lime seasoning, divided

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon sugar

1 (8-ounce) bag Land O Lakes® Co-Jack® and Pepper Jack Cheese Cubes

1 cup smoked sausage mini bites, cut in half

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 275°F. Line sheet pan with aluminum foil; set aside.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine nuts, corn kernels and pepitas in large bowl; mix well.

  3. STEP 3

    Melt Garlic & Herb Butter Spread in microwave-safe bowl. Add 1 tablespoon chile-lime seasoning, lime juice and sugar; stir to combine. Pour butter mixture over snack mixture; toss to combine. Spread onto prepared pan.

  4. STEP 4

    Bake 25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until snack mix begins to toast and butter mixture is absorbed. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon chile-lime seasoning. Cool completely.

  5. STEP 5

    Stir in cheese cubes and sausage.

    Store refrigerated.

If making ahead, keep the meat and cheese separate, combining just before serving to maintain optimum texture.
