1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter softened
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Heat oven to 325°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
Combine brown sugar and butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25-28 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. (Do not overbake.) Cool in pan; cut into bars.

Discovered this recipe when I was low on white sugar and wanted to make brownies. They are a family favorite. I put a touch of Turkish coffee grounds (espresso powder would work) sometimes for a twist. This is a winner!
