1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Fat Free Half & Half

3 cups cornflakes, crushed

8 slices sandwich bread

1/4 cup orange marmalade

4 (1-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American

4 slices Canadian bacon or deli ham

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter melted

Maple syrup, if desired

Combine eggs and half & half in shallow dish; beat with whisk. Place cornflakes in another shallow dish.

  3. STEP 3

Spread 1 side of 4 slices bread with 1 tablespoon orange marmalade each. Top each with 1 slice cheese, 1 slice Canadian bacon and 1 slice bread.

  4. STEP 4

Dip both sides of each stuffed french toast into egg mixture, then into cornflake crumbs; place into prepared pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with maple syrup, if desired.

Tip #1

Marmalade is a preserve made from the peel and the flesh of citrus fruits cooked with sugar until thick and intensely flavored. It can be used like jam or as a flavor complement to savory ingredients.
