1 (15.25- to 16.5-ounce) package butter recipe chocolate cake mix

3 tablespoons instant chai tea latte mix

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened

1 large Land O Lakes® Egg

3 tablespoons milk

1 cup milk chocolate chips

Glaze

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3 to 5 teaspoons water

*Substitute 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, 1 teaspoon ground ginger and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

Combine all cookie ingredients except chocolate chips in bowl; beat at medium speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.

  3. STEP 3

Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls. Place, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until tops are set and cracked. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to cooling rack. Cool completely.

Combine all drizzle ingredients except water in bowl. Add enough water for desired drizzling consistency. Drizzle over cooled cookies. Store between sheets of waxed paper in container with tight-fitting lid.

Tip #1

- Instant latte mixes are sold in the coffee/tea section of the supermarket. Be creative and try your favorite flavor in this recipe.

Tip #2

- Cookies can be sprinkled with mixture of 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1/4 cup powdered sugar instead of drizzling them.
