Ingredients

Chicken

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon
garlic powder
6 (5-ounce)
boneless skinless chicken breasts

Blue Cheese Butter

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
2 tablespoons
crumbled blue cheese
2
green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon
chopped fresh basil leaves*
 
*Substitute 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves.

Directions

  1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Combine butter and garlic powder in small bowl.
  3. Place chicken breasts onto grill; brush with butter mixture. Grill, turning and brushing occasionally with butter mixture, 10-13 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches at least 165°F and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
  4. Meanwhile, combine all blue cheese butter ingredients in small bowl; mix well.
  5. To serve, top each grilled chicken breast with about 2 teaspoons blue cheese butter.

Recipe Tips

Leftover chicken is delicious sliced and added to favorite salad greens the next day.
