1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1/2 cup chunky-style peanut butter
2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons sugar
48 milk chocolate candy pieces
STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
STEP 2
Combine brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
STEP 3
Pat dough into ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 15-17 minutes or until golden brown. Press evenly spaced chocolate candies into warm bars. Cool completely. Cut into bars, cutting between candies.
