Ingredients

Cookie

3/4 cup
firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1
large Land O Lakes® Egg
1/4 cup
milk
1/2 teaspoon
maple flavoring
1 1/2 cups
all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon
ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon
ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon
baking soda
1/8 teaspoon
salt

Frosting

3 ounces
cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1 1/4 cups
powdered sugar
2 tablespoons
maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon
ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon
maple flavoring

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Combine brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter in large bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add egg, milk and 1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring; continue beating until well mixed. Reduce speed to low; add all remaining cookie ingredients. Beat until well mixed.
  2. Drop dough by level teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Transfer to wire rack. Cool completely.
  3. Combine cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Reduce speed to low; add all remaining frosting ingredients except pecans. Continue beating until smooth and creamy. Spread 1 teaspoon frosting on each cookie; top with pecan half.
