Ingredients

1 (8- to 10-pound) fully cooked bone-in half ham

2 tablespoons whole cloves

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

1/4 cup spicy brown mustard

1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 325ºF.

  2. STEP 2

Score surface of ham in diamond pattern to about 1/8 inch deep. Place cloves into center of each diamond. Place ham in roasting pan, cut-side down.

  3. STEP 3

Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in mustard until smooth. Add brown sugar and vinegar; cook until bubbly. Reduce heat to low. Cook 3-5 minutes or until brown sugar is dissolved.

  4. STEP 4

Pour glaze onto ham, brushing to cover. Cover or tent ham with aluminum foil. Bake 10-12 minutes per pound, brushing with glaze every 20 minutes, until heated through. Remove ham from oven; let rest 15 minutes before slicing.
