Ingredients

4 (4-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 400°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Pound chicken breasts with rolling pin or meat mallet to 1/2-inch thickness; set aside.

  3. STEP 3

    Combine cheese, basil, garlic and oregano in pie pan or shallow bowl. Place melted butter in another pie pan or shallow bowl. Dip chicken in butter; coat with cheese mixture.

  4. STEP 4

    Place chicken into ungreased 8- or 9-inch square baking dish. Bake 17-22 minutes or until chicken until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

Tip #1

To freeze and bake later, prepare chicken as directed but do not bake. Cover tightly with aluminum foil; freeze up to 3 months. To thaw, place in refrigerator for 24 hours or until thawed. Heat oven to 400°F. Bake, uncovered, 17-22 minutes or internal temperature reaches at least 165°F. and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
