Ingredients

2 tablespoons
Land O Lakes® Butter
1 large (2 cups)
onion, thinly sliced
1 medium (1 cup)
red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
1 medium (1 cup)
green bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
4 ounces
thinly sliced deli roast beef, cut into 2x1-inch pieces
10 (3/4-ounce) slices
Land O Lakes® Deli American
1/2 cup
milk

Directions

  1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.
  2. Melt butter in 12-inch skillet over medium heat until sizzling; add onions and peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, 10-12 minutes or until softened and lightly browned. Add roast beef; cook 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat; keep warm.
  3. Combine cheese and milk in bowl. Microwave, stirring every minute, 2-3 minutes or until smooth and heated through; keep warm.
  4. Place hot dogs onto grill. Grill, turning occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until heated through. Place buns, cut-side down, onto grill. Cook 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  5. Place hot dogs into buns; top each with pepper mixture and cheese sauce. Serve with any remaining sauce, if desired.
