Crust
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Filling
3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
3/4 cup slivered almonds, chopped, toasted
Drizzle
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
STEP 2
Combine all crust ingredients in medium bowl. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture evenly onto bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 12-15 minutes or until just beginning to brown.
STEP 3
Meanwhile, combine all filling ingredients except coconut and almonds in medium bowl; mix well. Stir in coconut and almonds. Spread evenly over hot, partially baked crust. Bake 20-30 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely.
STEP 4
Place chocolate chips and shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 1 minute; stir. Continue microwaving 30 seconds; stir until smooth. Drizzle over bars. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
