Ingredients

7 cups water

1 teaspoon sugar

1 cup milk

4 ears fresh corn, husks and silk removed

2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil

Pepper, to taste

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Bring water and sugar to a boil over high heat in large stockpot. Add milk and corn. Return to a boil. Turn off heat and let sit in hot water 10 minutes or until kernels are bright yellow and corn is tender. Remove corn from water; lay on paper towel to drain. Serve hot, slathered in Butter with Canola Oil and seasoned with pepper.

Tip #1

Adding milk to the water might seem strange but it helps bring out the natural sweetness of corn on the cob. Once you try this method you'll never look back!

Tip #2

No-boil corn is a forgiving method for cooking corn, since the water temperature continues to drop; the corn will never overcook.
