Small Batch Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
Sugar Mixture
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon garam masala
Cookie
12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes® Butter
14 cup peanut butter
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg (yolk only)
12 teaspoon vanilla extract
34 cup all-purpose flour
14 teaspoon baking powder
14 teaspoon baking soda
14 teaspoon salt
How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.

Combine sugar and garam masala in small bowl; set aside.

Combine brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in bowl. Beat on medium speed until well mixed. Add egg yolk and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat at low speed until well mixed.

STEP 4
Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls; roll in sugar mixture. Place, 2 inches apart, onto prepared cookie sheet. Flatten balls in criss-cross pattern with fork dipped in sugar mixture.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
