1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Salted Butter

2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate

4 (1-ounce) squares semi-sweet baking chocolate

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 large Land O Lakes® Eggs

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped pecans

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. STEP 2

    Combine butter and baking chocolate in 1-quart saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes or until melted and smooth. Cool slightly.

  3. STEP 3

    Meanwhile, combine flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl; set aside.

  4. STEP 4

    Beat eggs in large bowl until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition. Add cooled chocolate mixture and orange zest; beat until well mixed. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.

  5. STEP 5

    Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 9-11 minutes or until set. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheets; remove to wire cooling rack.
