Glazed Ham & Cheese Party Sandwiches

Make One Get One

It's all about creating one dish and turning the leftovers into something new!

These party-worthy ham and cheese sandwiches can be made using leftovers from our butter-glazed Brown Sugar Citrus-Glazed Ham. A simple sauce of orange juice, brown sugar, mustard and honey coats the ham and cooks up into a sweet and savory glaze.

It's another new meal, not just the leftovers. Enjoy!

Get started!

12 Hawaiian sweet rolls

12 thin slices deli ham

6 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American, cut into quarters

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

How to make

  1. STEP 1

Slice rolls in half horizontally. Place bottom halves of rolls into ungreased 13x9-inch baking pan. Place 1 slice ham onto bottom half of each roll. Top with 2 quarters Deli American and top half of roll.

  2. STEP 2

Combine all sauce ingredients in bowl; mix well. Pour sauce over sandwiches. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.

  3. STEP 3

    Heat oven to 375°F.

  4. STEP 4

Bake, covered, 10 minutes. Uncover; continue baking 10-15 minutes or until tops begin to brown and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

Tip #1

Make these easy-to-assemble sandwiches the night before, then cover and refrigerate before baking off the next day.
