Ingredients

4 cups firmly packed brown sugar3 Land O Lakes® Butter, softened
4 cup2 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1 teaspoon vanilla

4 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder
1
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon1
2 teaspoon salt 4 cup dried pears, 2 cup pistachios,3 tablespoons chopped candied ginger

How to make

STEP 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Line 9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Spray foil with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.

Combine sugar and butter in bowl; beat at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs, half & half and vanilla; beat until well mixed. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed. Add pears, pistachios and candied ginger; beat until well mixed.

Pour batter into prepared pan; smooth top. Bake 38-48 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Remove from pan, using foil ends. Remove foil; cut into bars.
