1 pound ground turkey

Salt, if desired

Pepper, if desired

1 (16-ounce) jar black bean and corn salsa

5 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American, quartered

2 cups multi-colored tortillas strips  

1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce

 *Substitute 2 cups broken tortilla chips.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Cook ground turkey in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat 8-9 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain; season with salt and pepper, if desired. Stir in salsa; top with American.

  2. STEP 2

    Cover; reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 1-2 minutes or until American is melted. Sprinkle with tortilla strips.

  3. STEP 3

    Remove from heat; top with shredded lettuce.

Tip #1

Look for multi-colored tortilla strips in the produce section of the supermarket near the salad toppings.

Tip #2

Serve this skillet with sour cream and chopped fresh cilantro for extra flavor!
