Hot Honey Butter Mashed Sweet Potatoes

2 pounds (about 7 cups) sweet potatoes, peeled, cubed

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Honey Butter Spread

3/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

1/2 teaspoon salt


Land O Lakes® Butter Balls, for topping

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Place sweet potatoes into large stockpot filled with salted cold water. Cook uncovered over medium-high heat 16-18 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced with fork. Drain; return sweet potatoes to pan. Add 1/2 cup Honey Butter Spread, cayenne and salt. Mash until desired consistency.

  2. STEP 2

    Serve hot topped with Butter Balls as desired.
