Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

1 (14-ounce) can water-packed artichoke hearts, drained, coarsely chopped

1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed dry

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese

6 ounces (1 1/2 cups) Land O Lakes® Aged Italian Blend Fine Cut Shredded Cheese

3/4 cup sour cream

2 ounces (1/2 cup) Land O Lakes® Mozzarella Farmstyle Cut Shredded Cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sliced green onions

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

 

Crackers, bread, cut-up fresh vegetables, as desired for dipping

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine all ingredients except dippers in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Cover; cook on High heat setting 1 hour; stir and heat 30-45 minutes longer or until dip is hot and starting to bubble around edges. Hold warm on lowest setting. Serve warm with favorite dippers.

Tip #1

Slow cookers vary widely in size and power level. We developed this recipe using a 3-quart slow cooker. If you have a larger model, you may need to decrease the temperature and/or reduce cooking time to avoid burning your dip.

Tip #2

Just like a dip baked in the oven, there will be browning around the edges. That's normal (and is some people's favorite part)!
