Rich Buttery Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/3 cup Land O Lakes® Butter

2/3 cup Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Combine all ingredients except whipping cream in 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 5-10 minutes or until mixture comes to a full boil. Cool 5 minutes. Stir in whipping cream. Serve warm.

Tip #1

This simple caramel sauce makes a great hostess gift. Take it up a notch by including a pint of your favorite ice cream and some candied nuts.

Tip #2

Keep refrigerated for up to 3 weeks. To reheat, microwave 45-60 seconds; stir well.
