3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs, separated
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups Land O Lakes® Half & Half
1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons freshly grated lemon zest
Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
Land O Lakes® Heavy Whipping Cream, sweetened, whipped, if desired
Fresh or frozen fruit (blueberries,strawberries, raspberries, etc.), thawed
Heat waffle iron to medium-high heat.
Beat egg yolks using whisk in bowl until light yellow color. Stir in all remaining waffle ingredients except egg whites just until moistened.
Beat egg whites in bowl at high speed, scraping bowl often, until stiff peaks form. Gently stir beaten egg whites into waffle mixture. Bake according to waffle iron directions or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve waffles with butter, syrup, whipped cream or fresh fruit, if desired.

This is my all time favorite waffle recipe. The honey in them and citrus give them a delicious flavor; this is the only waffle recipe I use now.
This is a great recipe for light, fluffy waffles. I served them with strawberry butter, and will definitely make them again.
