Peach & Prosciutto Grilled Cheese

1/4 cup Land O Lakes® Butter, melted

8 slices sourdough bread

8 (3/4-ounce) slices Land O Lakes® Deli American

1 to 2 medium (1 1/4 cups) fresh peaches,   thinly sliced

3 ounces (about 6 slices) prosciutto,   cut into large pieces

 *Substitute frozen peaches, thawed, patted dry, thinly sliced or 1/4 cup peach preserves. **Substitute thinly sliced deli ham.

How to make

  1. STEP 1

    Heat gas grill to medium-high or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

  2. STEP 2

    Brush 1 side of each bread slice with melted butter.

  3. STEP 3

    Layer 1 slice bread, butter-side down with 1 slice cheese, one-fourth of peach slices, one-fourth of prosciutto and 1 slice cheese. Top with 1 slice bread, butter-side up. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

  4. STEP 4

    Place sandwiches onto grill. Grill, turning once, 4-8 minutes or until bread is crisp and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

Tip #1

To cook sandwiches on stovetop, heat skillet or griddle to medium. Cook sandwiches, turning once, 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
